February 20th, 2016 - Zeigler Heads to Volusia for DIRTcar Nationals
Competing in the second night of the 45th Annual UMP DIRTcar Nationals, Mason Zeigler was one of fifty-one Super Late Models signed in on Tuesday at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida). Transferring the top three out of the heats and into the A-Main, Zeigler notched a 5th place finish sending him into the consolation event. Needing a 2nd place finish or better to make the $7,000-to-win A-Main, Mason retired a 9th place outing.

On Wednesday for the final night of the UMP DIRTcar Nationals, Mason earned a 3rd row starting spot of his heat after recording the 5th fastest qualifying time in his group. Needing a 3rd place finish or better to make the show, Zeigler transferred into the B-Main after placing 6th. Battling for a 2nd place spot or better, Zeigler fell two positions short of transfer spot with a 4th place outing.

Returning on Thursday, Mason was one of fifty-eight entries signed in for the first night of World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series (WoO) action. Falling back to a 10th place finish in his B-Main, Zeigler was sent into the B-Main for one more shot at the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Transferring the top two, Mason Zeigler logged a 10th place outing.

Laying down the 6th fastest qualifying time in his group on Friday night, Mason Zeigler was slated to start on the front row of his heat starting alongside Donny Schatz. Capturing a heat race victory, Zeigler earned the pole position starting spot for the feature after the redraw. With $10,000 on the line, Mason fell back to a 25th place outing in the 50-lap affair.

Wrapping up the 45th Annual DIRTcar Nationals, Mason earned a 3rd place starting spot for his heat after timing in 6th fastest in his group on Saturday night. February 13th, 2016 - Mason Zeigler Wins Final Night at East Bay
After letting Jonathan Davenport pilot his #25z Longhorn/Pro Power Racing Engine Super Late Model on Monday night, Mason Zeigler returned behind the wheel on Tuesday at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) for the second night of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) Winternationals. Coming up two spots short of a transfer position in his heat with a 6th place spot, Zeigler edged his way into the main event with a 4th place spot in his B-Main. Coming from the 12th row, Mason stormed his way through the field fourteen positions recording a solid 10th place outing in the 25-lap A-Main.

Returning for the fourth night of the LOLMDS Winternationals at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida), Mason followed up the 5th fastest time in his group with a 4th place heat finish edging his way into the 45-lap A-Main. Paying $7,000 to the winner, Zeigler fell back to a 22nd place outing.

Laying down the 2nd fastest time in his group on Friday night, Mason Zeigler earned front row starting spot alongside Jason Landers for his 10-lap heat race. Battling for a transfer spot into the $10,000-to-win main event, Zeigler came up short a transfer position after coming in contact with the wall. Transferring into the B-Main for one last shot at the feature, Mason cruised to a consolation victory. Starting on the 9th row, Mason Zeigler fell three spots in the 50-lapper registering a 20th place outing.

Competing in the final night of action at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) for the LOLMDS Winternationals, Mason Zeigler was slated to start on the pole for his heat after posting the 2nd fastest qualifying time in his group. Cruising to a 10-lap heat race win, Zeigler earned a 2nd row starting spot for the main event. Paying $12,000 to the winner, Mason made the pass for the lead over Scott Bloomquist on lap 23. Holding off Bloomquist's late race charge, Mason Zeigler held on for the remaining 37 laps to score his first feature win of the 2016 season with Bloomquist, Dennis Erb Jr., Gregg Satterlee, and Darrell Lanigan trailing him across the finish line. February 7th, 2016 - Zeigler Competes at Golden Isles Speedway
Mason Zeigler resumed his 2016 season by traveling to Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Georgia) on Friday night for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Georgia Boot Super Bowl of Racing. Competing in a field of forty-five Super Late Models, Zeigler fell one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place outing. Cruising to a 12-lap consolation win, Mason earned a 9th row starting spot for the main event. On Saturday morning Mason returned to action for Thursday’s rescheduled Edward Coggins Memorial paying $7,000 to the feature winner. Posting the 3rd fastest qualifying time in his group, Zeigler logged a 7th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main. Needing a 4th place finish to make the feature, Mason edged his way into the A-Main with a 4th place spot. Improving three positions in the 30-lap affair, Mason Zeigler registered a 21st place finish.

Later on in the afternoon, Zeigler transferred into the B-Main after coming up one spot short of a transfer position with a 5th place outing. With the rain eventually postponing Saturday night’s remaining events, it was determined Mason would transfer into the feature with a 9th row starting spot. Battling for a $15,000 payday, Mason Zeigler retired after the first lap logging a 21st place finish.
